hidden nature: the spectre of the potato is a 45 minute solo dance performance-mytho-memoir about ancestor peasants, rhizome as gender identity, and becoming what you eat, featuring original choreography, projected elements, sets, and costumes. It is a multi-character tuber-séance featuring a mix of dead-serious dancing, less-than-serious theater, and playfully laughable clowns. Free admission here!
This project is supported by the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture’s CityArtist Grant Program. October 24th and 25th at Base Experimental Arts + Space!
